Adultery has been close to home. My uncle, may his soul rest in peace, was an incurable womanizer but back then, being a happy-go-lucky tweener, I couldn't care less. But now that I'm old enough to know, I'm starting to care, so much so that I want to bury a knife on the back of a colleague's womanizing husband. It started with a small girl talk that became a serious conversation about 'what ifs' in relationships. It was agonizing to hear the pain of a woman who's been betrayed by the man who promised to love and take care of her till death do them part. I've had sleepless nights after that.

Locally, Krista Ranillo's claim to fame has been because of the rumor about her being Manny Pacquiao's other woman. Krista's pretty, yes, but is being linked to 'the Pacman' the only to claim a seat in stardom? I've read in so many articles that she's been in showbiz for so long but didn't really make the cut unlike so many other new-ish artist. Having said this, Manny Pacquaio might just be the answer that she believed to hold the key to raise her star, if there's any at all.

Of course, she belied the accusations being hurled at her which by the way is very generic. But there's one thing Krista should never forget:

what's the saddest movie you've ever seen?

Hotaru no Haka/Grave of the Fireflies, a Japanese animation telling a story of siblings during the war in Japan. It just tore my heart and left me depressed for a month. Yeah, it was THAT heavy. OMG, i feel sad again.
